Female Entrepreneurs in Egypt! TIEC in Partnership with USAID’s SEED Project launch WEN Mentorship Program

The mentoring session program offers mentoring sessions to female entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses. Deadline is on the 5th of October.

The Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN) of the USAID’s SEED Project teamed up with the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and launched WEN Mentorship program. The program looks for aspiring female entrepreneurs seeking mentorship to grow their businesses. The selected mentees will participate in speed-mentoring sessions in order to be matched with the suitable mentor and then they will receive one-on-one mentoring for a period of 3 months with 5 hours per month as a minimum.

TIEC has trained 25 women mentors that have experience in a variety of fields and are now ready to deliver mentorship for other entrepreneurs.  The program aims to help female entrepreneurs and guide them to make the right decisions for their startup.

The three-months program offers mentorship sessions in the fields of Human Resources, Marketing, Sales & Business Development, Leadership &Management, Funding & Investing, Finance &Accounting, Pitching, Operations, and Management.

Applicant startups should be with female founders, the startup or the enterprise has to be beyond the ideation phase: in either traction or growth phase. The entrepreneurs should be willing to learn and grow their business. Besides the commitment to the mentor a minimum of three months and to respect guidelines and mentorship relationship. 

TIEC partnered up with Startups Without Borders for the upcoming first edition of the Startups Without Borders Summit, taking place on 8 and 9 November, to give a series of speed-mentorship sessions. The sessions will be implemented within the framework of the Female Leaders track.
