Egypt is home to one of the fastest-growing startup ecosystems in the world, and is a hub for a new generation of entrepreneurs looking to redefine business and society in the region and beyond.
Created with the support of Drosos Foundation and six partners including Ibtikar Khana, The Startup Guide Egypt is now open for nominations.
Based on traditional guidebooks that can be carried around everywhere, the Startup Guide books were founded by Sissel Hansen and published for the first time in 2014 in Berlin. They are a modern-day how-to manual for entrepreneurs seeking to realize their dreams and launch companies in regions across the globe.
Startup Guide, a one of a kind entrepreneurial handbook, seeking nominations for entrepreneurs, investors, colleges, accelerators, and coworking spaces to be featured in their newest edition dedicated to Egypt’s dynamic startup scene.
To ensure an accurate and trustworthy guide, the book will be co-created with members of the local startup community from April 14 to May 5, 2020, and anyone in the community can nominate candidates they would like to see in the book here.
The publishing and media company has released books about nearly 40 cities across Europe, Africa, North America, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as regional guidebooks spanning the Nordics and Switzerland. In Autumn 2018, the company launched a media website, born out of the desire to explore different types of content and reach a wider audience. Startup Guide main offices are based in Lisbon and Copenhagen.
