Powercoders, based in Lausanne, is launching a new edition of their intensive, free training for refugees which starts in October.

Powercoders has just re-opened applications for intensive and free coding program, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The program offers students three months of courses and the opportunity to do an internship, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the permanent placement of trained refugees in IT-companies and IT-departments.
Launched in Bern, Powercoders has the mission of giving people their independence back, reducing social welfare costs and addressing the shortage of talent in the IT-industry. Since its launch, an overwhelming amount of volunteers participated as coaches or mentors, while many IT companies have been super enthusiastic about offering internships!
